H-1 Aircraft
The Naval Air Systems Command (Navair) has awarded F3 Engineering a multiyear contract for the manufacturing of support equipment for the H-1 aircraft. The thirty-four different assemblies will require machining, welding, assembly and testing of each piece of equipment. F3 Engineering was chosen for this program because of their outstanding previous performance in support of the manufacturing and delivery of support equipment to Navair.
Navair has also awarded F3 a multi-year contract for the repair of previously manufactured H-1 support equipment that has sustained in-use damage, along with an additional multi-year contract for the manufacturing of spare parts for these support equipment assemblies.
