F3 Engineering was founded in 1999 by Lizette Vazquez and Odilo Vazquez with the goal of providing our customers with mission-critical technology and products that address dynamic energy control.
From our ambitious yet modest beginnings, F3 Engineering has evolved into a leading industry firm that designs, develops and produces proprietary motion control products for military and commercial applications.
2005 proved to be a significant year in our history and a reflection of our pursuit of excellence as we received designation as an ISO 9100:2000 facility, with an upgrade to AS9100:2004 Rev. B certification in 2006.
In 2007, to accommodate the growing needs of its customers, F3 relocated to larger facilities in Paterson, NJ. securing a location within Paterson's Urban Enterprise Zone at the East 26th Street's location within the HUB zone.
In the same year F3 was awarded a Fellowship Technology grant from the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology that involved taking engine mount technology developed by F3 for the Navy and modifying it for the commercial market. This initiative was the genesis for development of a commercial application to the motorsports industry. The Mark I Steering Damper brings to motorcycles the same advanced anti-vibration technology used by the military. Using our exclusive Magnetorheological Fluid (MRF) technology, and a closed loop control system, the Mark I Steering Damper immediately adjusts to adverse conditions, reacting to shock and vibration in under one millisecond.
With expertise in semi-active control devices using MRF technology, F3 Engineering is providing viable vibration and shock absorber designs in a complete (mechanical, controls, and sensors) package. And, we are dedicated to providing technical guidance and support to our customers throughout the development and implementation process.
Building on our proud heritage of service and innovation, we remain dedicated to expanding and adapting our MRF technology to a wide range of products and solutions to industries in both the private and public sectors.
